What is unique about Ashanari products?

After spending considerable time in the industry, we realized that a renewed focus on working with what is already available and reusing waste from landfills can help us save the environment. When it comes to textiles, deadstock is the elephant in the room. Contrary to popular belief, deadstock is not necessarily defective, damaged, or old.  Deadstock basically is unsold inventory, which often gets accumulated when the projections of sales do not match the actual turnover, ultimately making its way to the landfill.

Ashanari products are made from natural, organic fibres and deadstock materials. We ensure that minimum waste goes into the environment and products are made in the most sustainable and ethical ways.

What is your customization feature?

In order to avoid back and forth and ensure there are no returns, we give our consumers customization options. Consumers can send us their preferences in terms of cloth materials, size and anything else they specifically require. We ensure that the product is made available to them exactly the way they want. We have a dedicated team to customise your clothes as per your size. Our intention is to reduce the carbon footprint which happens due to return of shipment and this customization feature helps to reduce the return rate.

What do you sell apart from clothes?

Apart from clothes, we sell yoga accessories. We have yoga mats and bags. You can reach out to us through our social media platforms or whatsapp in order to know more details.

The item I want is sold out. Is it coming back?

At Ashanari, our constant endeavor is to provide the best of our products to our consumers at any given point. However, sometimes some of our products are mostly available in limited quantities because of the method we source our fabrics and produce our collections. We don’t compromise our quality and therefore some of our collection gets sold out way quickly. Also, we use recycled materials and deadstock which makes it difficult to procure the exact material again.

Please note that the majority of our pieces are limited edition and will not be returning in the future.

The product I ordered is faulty, what do I do?

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We would be more than happy to exchange the product for you if we have it in stock. If it is not available in stock, we will provide you with a full refund in the source of payment.

How do I return a product?

At Ashanari, we have maintained a record of no returns from the past 4 years. The reason is our customization feature and personal assistance that we provide to our consumers.

Also, returning a product is not an eco-friendly process as one leaves a lot of carbon footprints while doing so. This is mainly fuel consumption that happens in the process. However, if you still wish to return the product, you can reach out to us via email, call, whatsapp or any of our social media platforms. We would be happy to provide you assistance with the same.

For a smooth process, please ensure that the product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It should be intact and not damaged in any way with all accessories included in the original package.The items must be with all original labels and packaging. Our return policy does not apply to the following goods: discounted or on sale items, gift cards, personalized items, customized or tailor-made items.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and of the amount that will be credited to your account. Then, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please note that the financial companies work on their specific time to refund the money once we make a refund requisition from our site. If you have any doubt about refund procedures of your credit card company, please contact them directly.

Do you use recycled or man-made fibres?

At Ashanari, we completely believe in organic, sustainable and environment-friendly products. Our aim is to use natural fibres like cotton, linen, bamboo fabrics, and hemp as much as possible. We also extensively use deadstock materials or recycled textiles which otherwise would have been dumped in landfills and caused immense air pollution.

However, few of our products are made from polyester threads and some of the trims are man made.

What size am I?

Our size guide can be found on our product pages. Here you can find the measurements for each size. All sizes listed on the website are US sizes, unless otherwise noted. Also all tags on the inside of the garments are listed in US sizes. Our size guide serves as a general guideline for helping you find your size in Reference you can view all of our size guides here.

Our silhouettes vary from slim-fitting to oversized, so each style will have different measurements. If you have questions about a specific style’s measurements, you can always reach out to our Customer care team for your perfect fit. or reach us out for your customised fitting.

We also provide customization features to our consumers where you can give us your size specifications and we customize the products according to that. This ensures that our consumers get what they exactly want and there are no returns.

How do I cancel the order I have placed?

What are the delivery types?

We usually follow the standard delivery process and keep you updated on the order via emails, whatsapp. In case you have any specific questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

In which countries do you offer the services?

(Our production is based at Jaipur, India. But we have our services in India, USA, Canada, Across Europe, Australia & New Zealand) operations are based in Jaipur, India. However, we deliver products in International markets as well.

Will my order be impacted due to Coivid-19?

**Temporary COVID-19 update - For the health and safety of our team, we only have a small and very limited team on-site. We will process all orders as quickly as possible, but there may be delays due to limited staffing.

How much does international shipping cost?

We offer free express shipping for all orders and budgeted returns for all international orders.

When will I get my refund?

Once we receive your return, please allow 5-6 business days for your return to be processed at our factory and then 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account on the original form of payment. We’ll send you an email to keep you updated on the process and also when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.

Anything else I should know about refunds for international orders?

Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. You will receive a full refund of the product price paid. Any duties and taxes paid separately at checkout are nonrefundable.

Is My Credit Information or any other payment information stored safely?

You bet. Information is stored by encrypted 3rd party payment processors and Ashanari never stores any of your credit information.

  • We begin to make your garments to your specifications.
  • Your order will ship in approximately 3-4 weeks.
